What to Expect
How long is the service?
Our service tends to run for an hour from 11am to 12pm. We sing some worship songs and then we hear from God's Word by one of the pastors.
Come just as you are. There is no dress code. Most people come in dressy-casual with jeans or slacks and a nice shirt. Feel free to dress formally or informally. We won't judge you.
What should I wear?
Yes, there is free childcare available during the 11am service. Children will be dismissed for Children’s Church after the worship music; a leader will take them to the classroom.
Is there childcare?
No, we don’t expect visitors to give. Each week we do take up an offering to further the ministries of Ellenwood Oaks, but it's for members as an act of worship and to support the church family.
Will I be pressured into giving money?
What are the sermons and music like?
Our music is contemporary praise music and hymns set to a modern sound. Our sermons on life topics found in the Bible that people face everyday.
Will I be singled out?
No. We do not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, to give a testimony, to come to the front. We’d be honored if you would introduce yourself to our pastors.
